Alex Ferguson

Alex Ferguson (Govan, Scotland, 1941) began training in 1974, but his big break came in 1986 when he was appointed coach of Manchester United, a club with which he won 38 trophies, including 2 Champions League and 13 Premier League championships.
With a total of 49 titles, he is the most successful coach of British football ever.
Appointed a sir in 1999, Ferguson announced his retirement in 2013, the year United also won the national championship. At seventy-three years old, he continues to work within the club.
